I am an Optical Applications Engineer with expertise in network testing across deployment, service activation, troubleshooting, and maintenance stages. I collaborate with major ISPs, TSPs, and hyperscalers across EMEA to support multi-layer network testing, focusing on optical, Ethernet, and transport technologies. I have proven experience delivering training, conducting proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and performing validations in both field and lab environments for global projects. I am skilled in SCPI-Python-based applications to test and monitor network performance.

 

Academically, I was awarded the prestigious European Union-funded Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors & Networks (PIXNET) in 2019. I completed the first two semesters at the TeCIP Institute, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy, after which I attended my third semester at the Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies, Aston University, Birmingham, UK and completed my fourth semester at Osaka University, Japan. During this program, I gained valuable experience collaborating with peers from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, which strengthened my ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams. Before the Erasmus Mundus Master's Degree, I earned an integrated B.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) + M.Tech (Wireless Communication & Networks) from the School of ICT, Gautam Buddha University, in May 2018. During my undergraduate studies, I undertook various internships in embedded systems, telecommunications, and hardware design, alongside regular academic projects.

 

My experience also encompasses in-lab optical system design software tools, optical sensor experimental setups, and modeling, design, and simulation of advanced photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
